Tour Update

Due to the untimely death of Marshall Tucker Band lead singer and founding member Doug Gray’s wife, the Marshall Tucker Band has cancelled all of their upcoming engagements through July 1. Wherever possible, dates will be rescheduled and announced on the band’s web site www.marshalltucker.com. The Gray Family asks for your understanding and respect for their privacy during this very difficult time.

Thinking of you, and praying for you. There are no words, just no words. Life is, sometimes, so unfair. May Gods hand give you comfort. JW

Our heart goes out to Doug & his family in this time of loss. Doug has always been so generous and friendly to my three daughters and I over the years when MTB comes to Florida. Having met his wife on a couple of occasions at the shows she also was always friendly and gracious. Nice people all the way around.

Doug: Just wanted to express how sorry I was to hear about your wife and to thank you for sharing your personal story. For mother's day, my son bought tickets for the two of us to attend your July 9th concert at the State College Theater because he remembered that Marshall Tucker Band was my favorite growing up. I got to spend the most incredible few hours with my son and he got to experience how great it was to grow up in the 70's with such great musical artists as yourself. Thank you for sharing your personal story with us--it was very moving and so important to the healing process. My heart goes out to you and your family. The concert was incredible--thank you!

Doug, I am terribly sorry for your loss, it brought tears to my eyes because I have lost many close people in my life... terribly sorry. It's very hard for me to even think about things in that nature, so...

On a better note THANK YOU FOR PLAYING AT SYRACUSE NEW YORK AUGUST 12, 2009!!!
I hope you remember me. I was the last girl you brought in the center of the stage, you gave me a tamborine :) Then I got my pic taken with you. I want to send it to you... I have been a fan of the Marshall Tucker Band all my life. I love you all and it was great to give you xoxo's at the show. This was so amazing to me, the best night of my life, the greatest moment I will ever live. Thank you so much. I hope you have a good show at Kentucky! Best of luck to you!

Happy Birthday Renee' !!
